The video was originally created as a little inside joke. But a few well-placed emails and tweets to the right influential blogs quickly led to it being embedded and shared around the world. In the end, the video was embedded on dozens of top blogs (Gizmodo, Engadget, NY Magazine) and Tweeted by WIRED, Guy Kawasaki, and Barbie herself.
